Festipay is the ultimate payment solution for festivals and events.
The Festipay app is a great way of maintaining control of Festipay festival cards. With this new app you can now keep track of purchases made at the participating festivals in Hungary and internationally, but you can also check your balance and previous transactions; in case of losing it, you can cancel your card and transfer the money to a new one; and you can now top-up your balance straight from your phone in 3 simple steps, using your credit cardREGISTERING YOUR CARDFirst you need to download the Festipay app from the Google Play Store and get a Festipay festival card. When making the first deposit onto the card, you get a PIN code (on the receipt) - this PIN is essential for registering your card in the application. The easiest way to do this is by using the NFC technology in your smartphone to read your card or just entering your card number manually . (There is an option to register multiple cards in the application if desired.)CHECKING YOUR BALANCE AND PAST TRANSACTIONSIn the main menu, there is an option to edit account settings which include the users email, password, name and photo (optional). To check the balance, simply tap on the menu button and select the festival you wish to check, a list of options will then appear, letting you see the balance in HUF (or currency used at the selected event), a transaction list, an option to change PIN, disable your Festipay card or remove the card. Once the Transaction List option is clicked, a list of recent transactions will pop up, detailing each payment made using the card.TOP UP USING YOUR CREDIT CARDAt selcet festivals to use this option, you need to register your credit card in the application and then choose the Credit Card Top Up option. Simply enter the amount you wish to transfer from your credit card to your festival card. To activate this transaction, go to any merchant, help desk, top up point or any location with a POS terminal and ask the staff to activate your credit card top up – and you can start spending just like that!Enjoy the festivals with cashless payment!App is deprecated. Scary to read the reviews! I was about to try this service for Budapest baths, but many people seem to have lost their money. I'm wondering why the company os not responding to those comments yet?
Never got refunded for Summerwell 2017, although all conditions like deadline and account info were ok. This app is cancer.
I need help. I have two cards from Summer Well Festival 2017. I registered both of them, setting up my bank account for refunds, long before the deadline. Yet it's been far longer than 10 days now and still no sign of a refund. How can I get my money back?
Sziget festival is not on the list which makes its whole purpose pointless
